E! News is canceled after 29 years on air. It was canceled in response to the economic fallout from the coronavirus pandemic, a representative for NBC Universal confirmed with CNN Business in an email.
No better return to staff reads than with an article about Beyonce! I was totally taken and inspired by the visuals and production of 'Black is King'. In typical QueenB style every element including the costume styling has a very deliberate meaning and purpose for the larger story. If you haven't seen 'Black is King' give it a watch this weekend.

In New York City, it’s as if parts of the Bronx were experiencing the Great Depression while the Upper East Side faced only modest drops in employment… The maps also highlight how the distinct nature of the coronavirus economic shock has divided cities into neighborhoods where most people can work from home and neighborhoods where most can’t. And because the latter group is disproportionately made up of Black and Hispanic workers, those lines also largely follow patterns of racial segregation."
An interesting dive into the disappearance of summer jobs for young Americans. As someone who had a “traditional” summer job for a few summers, I feel that the skills that came with that job were really valuable. However, alums from my college discouraged talking about those summer jobs, saying that more corporate recruiters would only find value in hearing about the skills gained rather than the jobs themselves.

Instagram Reels are here! And at a time when TikTok is in jeopardy. I’m curious to see how creators adapt to this new feature and if TikTok will be able to withstand it. I have a feeling Instagram will reign king and knockout the other apps that get in their way. Has anyone tried Reels yet?!
