Fashion

This was such a cool way for Moschino show off designs for Fashion Week during this time. Creative Director Jeremy Scott worked with Jim Henson's Creature Shop (makers of the Muppets) and they made puppet versions of typical front row attendees too!

Finally Rihanna released music err a new Savage X Fenty film/ show. where last years film was a little more BTS on the now iconic FW show, this was is a production made for film- think Beyonce Homecoming. Check out the show on Amazon prime video

Entertainment

The ocean is both terrifying and fascinating to me – especially its deepest seas. This is a cool new initiative by the Monterey Bay Aquarium in California to put on display deep-sea animals for the first time as a means of raising public awareness of their existence and their plight.

Still a Belieber and not afraid to admit it. Excited for the upcoming SNL season, and definitely going to try to win tickets to go in-person!!

Beauty

I really enjoyed this read and gained a lot of insight as to how Gen Z beauty brands market their products!

All eyes are on this upcoming election!  Everyone (person/organization/company) is doing everything in their power to ensure “45” doesn’t take on another term. Hence… the birth of “Biden ... Beauty?” a beauty brand formed to merge beauty and politics, pushing forward a message of diversity, inclusivity and agency within the beauty communities – and beyond. For this year’s election they’ve created the “Biden Beat Sponge,” with 100% of the sales proceeds + swag going to the Biden Victory Fund

The new beauty brand will donate 100 percent of profits to the DNC and the Biden/Harris campaign. It's Smart, Disruptive and a great way to capture the political attention + action of GenZennials.

Travel

This week’s H&S Coffee Break discussion with Max and Angela inspired me to research some interesting places to travel to in the United States. This article is Thanksgiving-themed, but you could still find an interesting place to travel to this weekend.

Culture

Albeit being over 20 years old (as well as one of my favorite albums), this article delves into how its more relevant than ever. Released in 2000, around Y2K, the tech bubble, Mad Cow and GMO foods, the anxieties of new millennium never really left and continue to fester amid a global pandemic, late-stage capitalism, climate change, and rising fascism. As Radiohead's lead singer Thom York once said in an interview, "Things never really die—they just go around."

A sweet reflection from Chadwick Boseman's family on the life and childhood of the star. His brother said, "I have been trying to remember Chad and not Chadwick. And there's just been a lot of Chadwick in the air."
