Luxury brands and retailers like Luisaviaroma, Estée Lauder and Frame are betting on influencers to host live video streams and drive sales. It is interesting to see how influencers are starting to promote products to consumers online using tactics similar to "QVC-style" pitching.   

While we know many brands decided to "go dark" this week, some decided to keep their posts/conversations "as usual" and then others, like the GAP (and honestly, Booking.com), decided to lean into the conversation. However, GAP was dragged for what they said was a fake hoodie - with people wondering why they'd take advantage of selling product at a time like this.
